How we handle your information

When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you provide. If you subscribe to our insights, we collect your email address.

We also record basic, aggregated visit information — pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, referring site and page load speed — so we can see which work is useful and keep the site fast. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.

To reply to your enquiry, to provide engineering services you ask us about, to send insights you have subscribed to, and to maintain and improve this website. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.

Your information is accessible only to Sheer Force Engineering personnel who need it, and to the reputable service providers who host this website, its database and our email. We do not sell or trade your information, and we do not disclose it to third parties except where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by law.

Enquiries are retained while they remain relevant to a current or prospective project and for as long as we are required to keep project records. Subscriber details are retained until you unsubscribe.

Every insights email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. You may also ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled systems. No online service can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the enquiry form — we will arrange a secure transfer instead.

For any privacy question, correction or deletion request, please get in touch and mark your message for the attention of our privacy officer. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this notice as our services change. The version published here is always the current one.
